ALDI’s story began in the German town of Essen in 1913 where the Albrecht family started their own grocery business. Throughout the 20th century, ALDI grew from a small family business into an international retailer with 7,482 stores around the world, serving millions of customers in eleven countries.
All of our ALDI-exclusive brand products are sourced by our very own team of quality experts and undergo regular in-house testing and independent laboratory analyses in order to meet our transparent quality and safety assurance standards.
ALDI has remained true to one key principle that has guided us since our story began in Germany more than 100 years ago – providing top-quality products to our customers at great value.
