Specialist IT (Support)

Your Responsibilities
- Provide helpdesk support for hardware & software, computer installation & setup, Email setup & support for computer or mobile device, basic printer setup & support (Windows 10, MS Office, mobile devices, etc.).
- Provide first-tier networking support, video conference equipment health check & setup, basic telephone system support and assist computer related procurement.
- Assist in IT internal project(s) / maintenance according to Global IT teams’ direction.
- Handle daily technical supports and maintenance, such as back up and network security.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving for both IT Hardware and Applications in a timely manner. Escalate issue and involve experts whenever required in order to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
- Contact hardware vendors for equipment purchase, maintenance, and support.
- Coordinate with Global IT teams to support project implementation and troubleshooting.
- Maintain IT asset and software licensing inventory and IT knowledge base.
- Complete related administrative paperwork and reports as necessary.
- Provide software support and training to end users to utilise the IT resources to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks assigned by Director IT and (Sr.) Manager(s) IT
Your Requirements
- University graduate in IT or related discipline. Equivalent work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- At least 2-5 years’ working experience in IT field and MNC work experience is highly preferred.
- Good experience with hands on user support, familiar with general desktop software e.g. MS Office, Windows.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 products support such as Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint.
- Experience with audio & video conferencing system support.
- ITIL v3 or v4 certification as advantage.
- Training experience as advantage.
- Organise and independently prioritise work and logically develop work plans.
- Self-motivation and team player with good attention to details.
- Positive, “can-do” attitude, self-starter with strong organisational skills.
- Strong analytical skills and logical thinking mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Work effectively under pressure during peak operating periods.
- Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese.
