Advisor Sustainability

Your Responsibilities

• Perform the ALDI HK (International Buying Asia) sustainability reporting efforts (with focus on CSRD) including data collection, analysis, report development, data verification, and report design
• Cooperate with materiality assessments and stakeholder engagement
• Coordinate the ALDI HK office communication channel to our HQ
• Conduct gap analysis, and develop strategies, policies, goals, initiatives, and targets to close the gaps
• Identify and follow up the impact of the sustainability efforts to ensure that the targets are achieved and implemented
• Engage with (international) colleagues at all levels and keep them informed about the reporting progress
• Liaise with our HQ on the implementation of human and environmental rights legislation and drive related projects
• Coordinate the written / visual communications related to reporting and projects for both internal and external stakeholders (including presentations, memos, dashboards, and scorecards)

Your Requirements

• At least 3 years in a sustainability / ESG reporting position
• Proven track record in sustainability reporting (i.e., GRI Standards)
• Very solid experience preparing and submitting information for sustainability / ESG reporting and disclosure projects
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large amounts of non-financial data
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Cantonese
• Strong project and time management skills
