Advisor Sustainability (Climate, Agriculture and Sustainable Products (CASP))

Your Responsibilities

• Supports the Manager Sustainability (CASP) by advising on the continued development of the IBA CASP Sustainability Strategy, Sustainability Principles and all related goals of the ALDI SOUTH Group, at both national and international level.
• Supports the Manager Sustainability (CASP) in leading, driving, advising on projects and memberships in associations and cooperation with external consultants for his/her area.
• Advises the Manager Sustainability (CASP) on stakeholder engagement.
• Informs the Manager Sustainability (CASP) about new (internal and external) developments in the Sustainability area with special focus on the CASP supply chain topics.
• Supports the training of employees and trainees from other departments.
• Maintains work progress reports, filing and archiving for the team members.
• Coordinates CASP related assessments with headquarters and third-party service providers.
• Performs data entry, data analysis and report generation.
• Updates on market and further developments in the CASP Sustainability area.
• Drives and supports the execution of CASP / Sustainability related projects and assessments in the supply chain.
• Assists in coordinating international Sustainability trips.
• Any other ad-hoc projects or administrative duties as assigned by the Manager Sustainability (CASP).
• Analyses market and social developments in the Sustainability area and proposes new concepts and fields of action.
• Executes, evaluates, and supports the implementation of Sustainability related activities in the supply chain.
• Supports the Manager Sustainability (CASP) in representing the members of the ALDI SOUTH Group in executing Sustainability related projects.
• Ensures that all reports and data are treated in the strictest confidence.

Your Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience, preferably gained in sourcing/buying offices
• Very solid experience preparing and submitting information for sustainability and disclosure projects
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large amounts of non-financial data
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Cantonese
• Strong project and time management skills
